Viszerale Arbeit - die Harmonie der Organe - Verdauungstrakt und Milz mit Nicola Dörffling
deutschVisceral work - The harmony of the
organs – Digestive System and
Spleen mit Nicola Dörffling
Digestive System and Spleen
Anatomy, palpation, visualization, diagnostic techniques and work on the organ system.
In visceral work, we listen to the song of the organs.
An orchestra is made up of many individual instruments, and only when they all play together
does the beauty of the melody come into its own.
In this class, we listen to the individual organ and invite it to find its own harmony so that it
can let its voice resound in the harmonious interplay of the whole person. We relate to the
organs of our clients so that they can relate to themselves anew .
One part of the course will be the study of anatomy, because only an organ whose position
and appearance is familiar can present itself to us in palpation. In anatomy, embryology,
nerve supply, ligamentous suspension, direct neighbors and distant relationships play
important roles in understanding the melody of an organ. The anatomy will be explored in a
mix of PowerPoint presentation, anatomy models and creative expression.
Visceral diagnostics with global listening, local listening and thermography are practiced
intensively and can complement our repertoire of craniosacral work.
Visceral work - abdominal cavity
Digestive system and spleen
Helping the digestive system back on track with a combination of quiet, listening touches of
visceral work and the clear, mobilizing contacts of visceral manipulation. The fine sense of
which of these modalities is the right one in each situation is practiced extensively. We give
the spleen its rightful place in this class, as although it shares space with the digestive
system, it is not part of it and is therefore often overlooked.
This class combines elements of visceral osteopathy, visceral manipulation and biodynamic
elements with visionary craniosacral work. Alternating between silent listening to the rhythms
of the organs and the more intensive techniques of visceral manipulation, we will immerse
ourselves in the depth of visceral touch.
The three visceral classes can be booked in any order. Previous attendance of the C1 in
visionary craniosacral work or other cranio training is recommended but not a prerequisite.
